Ken Block Bio

     Block Ken was born on November 21, 1967, in Long Beach, California is a professional racer from the Monster World RallyTeam. Block is also the founder and recently appointed officer ChiefOperating DC Shoes. Block also competed in the action sports including skateboarding, snowboarding, andmotocross.

     On October 15, 2009, reported that the block is close to a deal to join the World Rally Championship at the new Ford team. Old co-driver Alex Gelsomino also reportedly involved in a Subaru WRC driver Chris Atkinson deal.Former reportedly been lined up as his team mate-Block in the all-new Monster Energy Drink Ford World Rally Team.In 2005, Ken Block along with its DC Shoes co-participate in the Gumball Rally 3000. To show they sent three modified 2004 Subaru WRX STi sponsored by DC Shoes.
In 2006, Ken Block competed in the One Lap competition along with Brian Scotto America. They worked together on the 2006 Subaru WRX STI and finished fifth overall Forty.In 2006, for the Discovery Channel show Stunt Junkies, Ken Block jumping his Subaru WRX STI rally car 171 feet (52 m) and maximum height of 25 feet (7.6 m). The entire episode is dedicated to Ken Block try this stunt.
     In 2007, Ken Block joined the DC Shoes Snowboarding team at Snow Park New Zealand. Blocks to make a big jump in snowboarding tricks and helpful when driving a rally car on a mountain with the snowboarders. This session will make the cover of the December 2007 issue of Snowboarder Magazine, and closed MTN.LAB DVD 05:01.
In 2009, for the BBC show Top Gear, James May Ken took to the driving force acts on the Block Gymkhana in Inyokern Airport, an airport operations California, also stars Ricky Carmichael, who described Ken as 'good friends'.
In 2010, for the BBC show Top Gear, Ken took the car features from the previous episode (a Reliant Robin) for a lap of Top Gear test track. He turned the car and could not complete a lap but was not injured.

     On January 6, 2010, announcement was made as Ken joined the Ford and began his career driving both WRC Ford Fiesta and Focus RS WRC.On August 24, 2010, Block released the first three parts of the Gymkhana 3 video release featuring the Ford Fiesta.Ken Block also holds the world record for world's fastest snow cat, which has been modified Subaru STI STI called Trax. [Citation needed]On 14 September 2010, three Block Gymkhana video, featuring the Ford Fiesta, was released on YouTube. Video that gets more than seven million views in its first week.On August 16, 2011 fourth Gymkhana video, Hollywood Megamercial released on YouTube, featuring blocks of driving around the Universal Studios backlot.
